Main features

Our number three hula hoop pick is Swingfit. It wasn’t very difficult to assemble and disassemble this hoop, especially with the handy instructions that are included in the pack. You would think that we were ready to test this hoop straight away, but it was a bit more complicated than that. The main issue that we experienced was connecting the pieces in a way where they wouldn't separate. It took us a couple of attempts to get it right, but once you get the hang of it, it should be smooth sailing from this point forward. Swingfit comes with a carrying/storage bag so that you can store all the pieces neatly in one place. An additional accessory is a measurement tape to measure your progress. It is a nice touch from the company to include this tape. However, we feel like it wouldn't come in handy that often because the hoop itself is pretty light, so it would take a while before you notice any results.

Design and Comfort

Swingfit is a hoop of regular size, and we couldn’t find a way to adjust it. Therefore, we have to conclude that it's a one-size-fits-all type of hoop, which could be a bit inconvenient. Of course, it's all a matter of preference, yet we feel it would be nice to know that you have an option to adjust your hoop to your liking. Swingfit is not super heavy as it is made from plastic, however, it's far from sturdy. You would expect an exercise hoop to be strong and stable; however, it is not exactly the case with Swingfit. Spinning itself is not so awful, but the hoop wobbles a bit and sometimes can become disfigured. It would also help if it didn’t have curves. It is because of these curves that Swingfit is not the pinnacle of comfort. We have to give credit for the soft foam exterior, which makes the whole process a bit more bearable. In other words, you can spin Swingfit as much as you want, but it would take very long to see results due to its lightweight.

Value

It is about the same price as our number one choice, so it is not outrageous. However, we feel like, for that price, Swingfit could be more comfortable to use and less wobbly. Generally speaking, it is not a bad choice of a hula hoop; however, we believe you could find something better for this price. On a side note, the shipping costs extra, so the total price of Swingfit increases even more. We recommend thinking twice before purchasing this hoop because there is definitely room for improvement in terms of comfort and assembly.
